Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Is there no opposing view here? Isn't anyone going to insist that lurkers stay all lurky and stuff.

I was going to argue against a thread that's only active for one month out of the year, but then I remembered that we also have the Goodbye and Good Riddance thread.

(Maybe the Goodbye and Good Riddance thread can be repurposed each year into the Hello and How Are You thread.)

Our wings are not tired.

Delurking I: Does not rhyme with blinvisible

Looks like Goodbye and Good Riddance may make it open all year due to epic slacking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe the Goodbye and Good Riddance thread can be repurposed each year into the Hello and How Are You thread

What Laura said. Let's not cross the two.

I was going to argue against a thread that's only active for one month out of the year, but then I remembered that we also have the Goodbye and Good Riddance thread.

...you mean the one that is STILL GOING, since it's September and some people still haven't gotten/sent their Secret Santa gifts? Heh. (Thankfully I am not among that number, so I don't actually care, I just find it a little eye-rollingly amusing)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Loving this idea! I am sure we have a lot of fabulous lurkers, and some of them want to de-lurk but don't quite know when or how. This new thread could be a nice place to dip a toe in.

I support the lurkers although not in email.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Isn't anyone going to insist that lurkers stay all lurky and stuff.

Well, sure. But they're lurking so we can't hear them.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I would be willing to delurk in a delurking thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Delurking I: Does not rhyme with blinvisible

I'm always happy with the Buffy references.
