The only real problem I have with Boxed Set is when I feel discussion about a slightly less popular show is being drowned out by discussion about a show more people watch. Pushing Daisies and Chuck felt to me like they belonged there. For Chuck not only for the intersect aspect, but also for the general geekiness of the show. Eli Stone and Ally McBeal don't feel like a fit to me.
Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
I'm good with that on a personal level, too, Frank. I think I'm seeing discussion here that it's problematic for others, particularly with respect to a lot of shows defaulting to Boxed Set (when they see an argument to be made otherwise, I think). I mean, I love BS and hug it and pet it and call it George (apparently with no commas whatsoever), but... oh, I don't even know.
But I agree that Natter is totally a place for TV discussion, too. (ETA: and the slug tells me so!)
it's hardly a burden to point over there.
I am so burdened by this. Kidding.

I think you meant Fred, but I'm not sure.
I did! But, you know, hi, Frank!
Anyway, I don't think this discussion is really about Boxed Set, is it? Is there likely to be a proposal for voting that affects it?
Jesse, Boxed Set is explicitly called out with other threads:
Rethinking the structure and/or continued existence of the following bucket threads: Boxed Set, Cable Drama, Comedy, Procedurals, and Premium Cable.
omnis, I do know I can tweak my spoiler font/background. I've yet to find a combo that makes it easy and not tiring to read what I want and not see what I don't want.
Oh, never mind, then. In my head, this was about closing the smaller threads!
This whole discussion has been enlightening to me because I have never ventured into Boxed Set. Somehow my mental image of that discussion completely does not match what apprently is discussed there. No, I hadn't read the headers, just gone by the name of the thread which would never lead me to think of SFF type, current, tv shows.
I'm not megan, I think discussing how we structure what goes where so that it is more intuitive is a worthy discussion.

Well, if they were closed, it might mean less confusion about where things go since there would be fewer options. I put Boxed Set in there because I think it's part of the larger discussion. As I stated upfront, I wouldn't suggest closing it.

Is there a but missing in that sentence?

Natter? And...? Are there other options here that I'm not seeing? (Note: it's very possible that I'm dense, so...)
