We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Glamcookie, I like it also.

I do wonder about being able to find stuff in the future. Like I find it hard to imagine us spinning Dollhouse out of that thread when it'll be the only thing discussed until Joss puts something else out there. Will we end up with a mish mosh of stuff to sort through later?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't see that as a huge problem. If Dollhouse takes off, is hugely successful, and runs for years, we could easily hit 10,000 posts before other major long-form projects are developed. It would be easy as pie at that point to spin off a Dollhouse-specific thread and then create Jossverse 2 should it become needful at a later point.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm a lot more sanguine about a Jossverse thread than I was about a Dollhouse thread.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I think a Jossverse thread to deal with current and future Whedon shows in TV/web format is eminently sensible, and leaves us the option of then going on to open up a Dollhouse thread down the line as and when it seems appropriate.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wow, as I was reading above I started thinking "Why don't we have a JossTV thread or something, Like Minearverse?"

And then I got to the very idea being proposed by a delurking Mala and all was good.

I am on board with a Jossverse thread, but what do we call it?

Will we use the naming conventions like:

Jossverse 1: Boredom zero.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think naming conventions are putting the cart leagues in front of the horse.

I agree with the idea of a Jossverse thread, and if volume within that dictates, spinning off a show thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think Jossverse is a great idea, with it explicitly being devoted to non-Buffyverse, non-Serenityverse, non-comics Joss media -- so Dr. Horrible fits alongside Dollhouse and any other side projects that come down the pike, until such time as one series is a big breakout hit that deserves its own complete thread.

This to me strikes a middle road between too many limited-interest threads, and giving an easily-identified specific place for discussion about these projects to take place.

I really LIKE this suggestion and will definitely vote for it should I get the chance.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I too like the idea of a Jossverse thread way more than a dedicated Dollhouse thread, at least for now.

Ok, Jossverse it is.
