Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Another alternative: The gamers could take over Sang Sacre, since it's already sort of an RPG / Virtual World / (not-massively) Multiplayer Online thing.

I don't like that idea, since I'm more interested in the gaming thread to talk about non-RPG video games.

Our wings are not tired

the majority of us can ignore the posts when they start?

I think it is presumptive to assume majority.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Especially when there's a risk of being spoiled (in the case of games, you can be spoiled for computer games...at least you could back when they had stories), I don't like taking that risk.

Would this become a problem in a general games thread?

I meant that the fact that this level of debate occurs is a problem for all of us, as a community. But I guess what I meant is that I think it should be considered a problem and I don't think you should have to ignore bureaucracy.

However, I also don't think that people who want a new thread shouldn't propose one, or that people who don't want any new threads shouldn't particpate in said proposal debate.

Was this directed at me? I was quoting Raq. Sorry to interrupt the conversation.

(Oh wait, I think it was directed at ND. Never mind.)

Sure, although they are Plei's recesses.

Would this become a problem in a general games thread?

It may. It also may be easier on all the thread readership to have whitefonted or otherwise called-out posts off in a thread by themselves, so people don't have to work to determine if the spoiler is about Bruce Wayne's fate or about Burger Shot's special offer.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Would Sang Sacre stop being what it's been or would the two purposes continue side by side?

OK, I think there's an interesting thing going on in the Music thread, with the current bandom talk. I don't know if the people posting are the "usual" posters in there, but it's definitely not the usual kind of conversation, and I'm sure it won't last forever, but is hot-n-heavy right now. Isn't this basically what people are suggesting around games talk in the Other Media thread? How do people feel about that?
