We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

ita - Can you point votes@... to DebetEsse? She volunteered upthread.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

A question that may have been answered upthread, but I was too confused to be sure: Will fans4writers also put up a link to us, or is the linking one-way only?

Visilurking

It looks like they will link to us in a list of fan sites that support the writers.

I'm not comfortable with linking to us. Maybe I'm an elitist, but I don't like random folks in our playground. Seems (to me) that every time we get linked to, we end up having random people who jump into the guacamole.

What is even happening?

In my opinion, that's more of a problem when a site has linked directly to a Joss or Tim post. If that fans4writers site is just linking to Buffistas.org, I doubt it will garner us much attention. If the motion passes, I would be sort of proud to have our name up there.

Has votes@ been updated. I've got a 3pm (EST) meeting (that's Noon PST), so I'd like to get the ballot up before then.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Debet will need to confirm she got the test email, but everything's done on my end.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think having our name part of the public face of the campaign, not just a statement here, is an important part of supporting the WGA. Not that I expect any particular impact on us one way or another.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I agree with brenda and Cindy.
