Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I'm against the idea that conversation has to be officially moved anywhere.

Despite what I said above, I'm kind of in agreement. I think it'd fit the best in Minearverse, but if the conversation crops up in Other Media or Natter (or even in Box Set), that'd be fine. Much as I love the show, I doubt there will be enough traffic for a new dedicated thread.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I can ammend. I am ammendable.

I propose we close the dedicated Firefly thread and let conversation happen where it will.

Punishingly Intricate

I propose we close the dedicated Firefly thread and let conversation happen where it will.

I like this.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You don't think people will then say "So where am I supposed to talk about Firefly?"

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I propose we close the dedicated Firefly thread and let conversation happen where it will.

I'm not a fan of thread-nannying, but I'm also not a fan of Firefly, and I shudder at the prospect of Firefly talk cropping up in Natter.

Though, in practice, I imagine it won't happen often, or at all, and I can just skip past like Hec with cat posts.

I don't see why you can't just talk about it where you see fit and then people will respond or not. If they respond you've got a conversation. If not, try someplace else.

seriously! it's not that hard. And it's not like you'll get spoiled for anything unintenionally.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

You don't think people will then say "So where am I supposed to talk about Firefly?"

I can't imagine it happening all that often. There were only like 20 episodes! How much more is there to say?

Hee. See also: holding a fork, cilantro, and the serial comma.

We so often run out of things to say here, of course.

I don't have any particular burning desire to talk about Firefly. But given that it's in the site's header, I think we ought to have an explicit place for discussion. Or take it out of the header.

Yeah, but if we dedicated a thread to it for like four years, we'd *still* run out of stuff.
