Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you don't want soaps in there connie, I think you should say so. It's safest to err on the side of spelling (no pun intended) things out.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm adding Connie's line about no soaps to the ballot.

The Press announcement is up:

And with that, I close this thread.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

SA has made the following proposal and received the appropriate number of seconds. Voting discussion is now open for:

So: I propose the creation of two new bucket threads. A Comedy thread, to include the half-hour sitcoms, and possibly other programs (to be worked out in Lightbulbs; may or may not include TDS/TCR and Ugly Betty); and a Procedurals thread, to include shows that work in the Mystery of the Week format (including but not limited to the L&Os, CSIs, House, Without a Trace, etc).

Spoiler font will be decided on a thread-basis, with the same choices offered last time, ie, no white font, 24 hour white font, or 48/72 white font (subject to any other suggestions made in lightbulbs).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As has been mentioned in Bureaucracy, the Procedurals thread theoretically overlaps with the Basic Cable thread, most obviously with L&O:CI moving first-run eps to USA. How to handle that?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The two options, I guess, would be to make the proposal a Network Procedurals thread, or to pull shows from Cable drama. I'm not sure which way I'd be inclined. Maybe a separate sub Q on the ballot?

Personally speaking, I'd prefer to leave TDS and Colbert as Natter fodder.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I would prefer that a procedurals thread be only for network television. I like the shows that are in basic cable now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Personally speaking, I'd prefer to leave TDS and Colbert as Natter fodder.

Me too.

I have no other opinions, since I watch very few of the shows in question and don't care where we talk about them.

Art Crawl!!!

Spoiler font preferences?

I have none - but I know that some have strong opinions.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Personally speaking, I'd prefer to leave TDS and Colbert as Natter fodder.

Me three. Since I don't watch The Office and it seemed to me to really take over the Experimental Comedy thread, I am unlikely to venture into a comedy thread, despite my love of HIMYM.

And what about something like Flight of the Conchords or is that in Premium Cable?
