Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wrong is the new right.

The Press Announcement is up. And with that, gropeclose this thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lightbulbs opens with a proposal from Connie Neil:

I formally propose a Broadcast Drama bucket thread, to include shows like House and Bones and CSI and Greys Anatomy etc.

Ah, power.

Thoughts against? Fine tuning proposals? Copy the basics of the Reality Show Thread? Drinks and canapes on the west veranda?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Broadcast Drama seems very...broad. I don't know how you could find the right discussion, especially when every night of the week, multiple shows people are watching will be airing, often at the same time. This is in theory, however; maybe the actual number of shows Buffistas want to talk about it is very small.

For the sake of this conversation, I pulled together a list of the dramas (which I'm defining as one-hour programs) that are going to air this fall. (I already pulled out comedies, reality shows and programs that have their own dedicated threads.) Some of these will probably be discussed in Boxed Set but I left them on for now:

MONDAY
8p prison break, chuck
9p k-ville
10p csi: miami, journeyman

TUESDAY
8p ncis, new amsterdam
9p the unit, house, reaper
10p boston legal, cane, law & order: SVU

WEDNESDAY
8p pushing daisies
9p private practice, criminal minds, bones, bionic woman, gossip girl
10p dirty sexy money, csi:ny, life

THURSDAY
8p ugly betty, smallville
9p grey’s anatomy, csi
10p big shots, without a trace, er

FRIDAY
8p men in trees, ghost whisperer
9p women’s murder club, moonlight, friday night lights
10p numb3rs, las vegas

SUNDAY
8p viva laughlin, life is wild
9p desperate housewives, cold case
10p brothers & sisters, shark

ETA: I just realized that the NBC shows are probably off a bit since I haven't updated my grid since NBC's post-upfront shuffle.

EATA: Updated! Chuck and FNL were the only changes.

Oh my god, I am not going to be able to leave the house on Wednesday. And when did Bones move to 9PM? crap.

September 19 is when it premieres. I dunno if they're going to move it to the new timeslot before then.

And, yeah. I think I'm going to have give up Criminal Minds. Even with my crazy teevee setup, I can't keep up with all of that.
