Just FYI, I'm off to the airport and away for work the next couple of days, so I won't be around to answer questions or respond or anything, but I'll catch up as soon as I'm back toward the end of the discussion period.
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

right. so are we going to go ahead with the voting process without getting final wording from her?
She's back, so I'm sure she'll catch up and post a final proposal.
Email redirected.
Yup, I'm back. I'll post something tonight. Based on the discussion so far, it'll probably be pretty close to the original.
Any thoughts on whitefont? Premium and most other TV threads are NAFDA. Boxed Set is whitefont until US airing. Personally, I'd be inclined to stick with that. But there is more of a timeshift issue for cable programming than for network, I expect.
For people who are in Premium, how does that work for you? Conversely, is the lack of whitefont keeping people out?
the experimental drama thread whitefonting kept me out of the thread until i'd seen all of the shows i cared about possibly being spoiled for. so i definitely think 24 hours/one week would not be remiss for a drama thread.
Hate whitefont. Might avoid a thread just because that's the conversational style. I'm more willing to risk spoilage to have an un-whitefonted conversation.
Your Beagle May Vary.
I'm exactly the opposite of David, if there isn't whitefont then I'll be the one avoiding the thread. I prefer something like 3 day whitefont since if I miss a show when it airs it usually takes me a couple of days to catch up and watch it.
If there's anything the threads taught me, it's that I'll just unsub from a thread when I get behind on a single show, and probably won't return for weeks. Especially given the unpleasant "Read New surprise." I don't know how Hec remains so current on his shows, but I'm like ND in this.

This is pretty much the reason that I discuss almost no TV on b.org at this point.
