Yay for the no preference vote!
'Why We Fight'
Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
The voting discussion doesn't close until tomorrow evening, Cindy, so there's no rush.
(four days of discussion, three days of voting)
Comedy - I don't know that I see a need at all. Reality-wise, the only thing I think would need whitefont at all would be who's off, for shows that operate like that.
Ok, this is fine. If there's no need for different wf policies, voting will show that. As for the two drama threads, I guess the experiment will show whether their traffic is individually strong.
I did mean to thank Cindy for moving the process along since I don't think more discussion is going to turn over any new leaves.
Is there any way to simplify the proposal? I find the convolutions are pushing me just beyond my bandwidth.
Suggestions?
I think the only way to simplify it is to determine the whitefont level, make it the same for all threads, and include that in the description. But I understand that you don't want to do that because you want everyone to feel empowered so every thread needs its own vote on whitefont.
Me? My brain says, "too many questions, make it all go away" and then it runs and hides under my amgydala.
So do you need to accommodate me? No. Change it if you wish, but you needn't change it on my account. If I want to vote, I'll reread the proposal enough times to figure out what it's saying.
It's detailed, but since it's largely repetitive on the white front I think it's still accessible.

Huh. I'm going to be out of town and possibly without Internet access during the voting period (and I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon, so depending on when the ballot is finalized, I may not see it). I'm only one person, but is there a way for me to vote ahead of time or vote by proxy (call a Buffista and have them send in my vote)?
We need a vote counter.
I can do it Jon. Seems I'll need to make a spreadsheet this time. In the past I just let my mail program do the sorting.
