Frankly, yes. Because the second thing would have been followed with inthread corrections and the whole 9 too. That's a pattern of disrespectful behavior IMO.
Right, okay. I wasn't trying to argue whether that was a good or a bad thing, actually, just trying to make clear that someone could indeed refrain from doing whatever got them warned and still get booted.
Yeah, it's my call, but I want opinions.
Well then, to restate, I don't want time limits added to this vote, because I want a process first.
I get you Katie. I'm glad you brought it up, because it made me think about it, and I hadn't before.
Galdalfe, how do you think you would have responded if you were confronted about one of your pissy posts in thread?(maybe this happened and I am unaware).
IIRC, I bitched back more, explained what I meant, and we all went on with it. Wasn't one of those in this very thread? May have been.
But, Gandalfe, it's not a walking-on-eggshells period. It's an Acting Right period. You can see that we, as a group, do not have a tendency to jump on people for every little thing.
But, for the person who it's happening to, assuming that they want to remain part of this community, it will feel like having to walk on eggshells, never knowing if saying one thing wrong will get them kicked out.

If time limits seem like they're going to be a sticky place, I'm siding with Heather on this. The process is really more important.
Cindy, you devilish numberslut!

If it's going to be a killer, then we can wait, by all means. In fact, yeah, maybe we should. As long as we get that done SHORTLY after this vote is finished.
You can propose it in B. for the next discussion and vote, right?
It probably is at least worth discussing.

Honestly, if it's that hard for this hypothetical person not to anger large groups of people that they feel as if they're "walking on eggshells" to avoid it, I don't think 6 months or 2 months will make a difference.
Hey, amyth, that was an accident (unlike my 4444 in spoilers and my 9999 in bureau)
