Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
OK, the Press announcement is up: Jon B. "Sunnydale Press" Aug 30, 2005 7:12:44 pm PDT
Given the fact that there's been only a handful of postings per month in the LoTR thread, and there's no prospect of a Hobbit movie in the near future, and no word on any additional DVD releases, there's no real need to keep the thread around. Discussion can easily take place in Movies or Natter.
If there's no calendar for new activity, I vote close, but don't archive, so it can be reopened if there's anything that's going to provoke a flurry.
This is my take.
I agree with Brenda and Tom.
Do brenda and Tom agree with each other, is the question...
It's a workable plan.
Haven't seen any objection to closing it yet. It was a cute thread title though.
Procedural question: Isn't the discussion here supposed to be announced in Press, or is that just when/if it comes to a vote?
Omission on my part, Frank.
Will rectify.
