'Beneath You'

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Our wings are not tired

I'm with Cindy on the hesitancy to codify this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

...and this is why we vote, people. If where we're at now is some people want to add a suggestion to the Site Etiquette and some don't, we need to find out how many people think each thing.

We could vote about whether we need the vote.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One proposal at a time! When we're done with this, we can vote on whether we should have voted on it.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Are you positively sure that neither one of you works in DC? That's the House of Representatives in a nutshell.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The very first vote we had was whether or not we wanted to start voting. Sophia's wording on it was great.

If we vote and it is decided not to codify sockpuppetry that does not stop us from adopting a custom of disclosure in the profile. Even in DC there are both written rules and customary behavior. When a sockpuppet appears I could shout "Hey Bozo! It's customary to disclose your board name in your profile," or something.

And when they say "I don't want to. Stop yelling at me." what happens next?

A Fosse dance number.

If the puppetry is all in good fun I enjoy or ignore it. If it is evil trolling I complain in B'crazy. If it is annoying me, but not evil I block them.

Although I really never yell at other posters. But I might. Someday.
