Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm in the Plei/Amych/Blob corner of Please If We're Going To Have A Spoiler Thread Make It A Spoiler Thread And That Means No Whitefont.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Whitefont and hardcore spoiling are not mix-y things.

You can't relax with whitefont.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

So, if we were going to make everyone happy (except the anti-proliferationistas), we'd have one spoiler thread just like it is, one without any white font, and one thread with casting, etc. that is or is not white-fonted?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

You know I'm never bringing a proposal to B'cracy ever again, right? :-)

It's a common reaction.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You can't relax with whitefont.

You can't relax with whitefont.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Cindy,

Thread 1) No white font, hardcore spoilage. Open discussion, like we used to have in the Buffy & Angel Spoiler thread.

Thread 2) All white font, all white font labeled as to both show, and type of content.

Ran afoul of the duplicate entry problem. There would be depth spoiler in one thread that weren't the other, so I would end up imperfectly spoiled.

I think it's safe to say that the generalized 'you', as in, the very vocal and active members of the former spoiler community, are not especially comfortable with whitefont, as most of us have weighed in and said just that.

(I'm actually literally physically uncomfortable with whitefont, but that's a wrist-related thing, and very much me-specific.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay...here is how I think the ballot is coming together right now:

1) Do you want a Spoiler Lite thread (insert definition) and Hard-core spoiler thread (insert definition) each serving multiple shows?

2) Do you want the current Spoiler thread policy to be no white fonting for multiple shows?

3) Do you want the current Spoiler thread policy to be white fonting so individuals can pick and choose shows?

4) Do you want a Lost spoiler thread (no white font)?

What is even happening?

I still don't understand who would be unhappy with this, and why

1) All hardcore, all the time

2) All white font, with labels as to content, all the time.

Deena, if you are a person who wants lite, but not what I'm saying in number 2, could you please explain it to me, because with all white font and labels, I don't understand how your experience would differ from what would happen in a traditionally defined "lite" thread. (cc: Wolfram, Jon B, and any other people who really loved/miss/want back a lite thread)

Well, yeah. But I figured "you" to be a little less "we" than your usage.
