My preliminary list would be Lost, Gilmore Girls, Joan of Arcadia, Survivor, Alias, Jack & Bobby, Dead Like Me, The OC and The Amazing Race. What else needs to be on the list?
I second the "24" suggestion (which is slated to start in January)
'Serenity'
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Veronica Mars and 24 are added.
My problem with starting a thread for The Daily Show would be that it would be hard to keep it from turning into a political thread, and we've voted that down. On the other hand, I do want this to be an inclusive list, so maybe I should just add it and see how people feel.
I would add nip/tuck, but the season is over. Ditto Six Feet Under.
I can't think of any you haven't included.
As a person who watches nearly everything on time delay, I'm less bothered by white-font in Natter and more bothered by the inability to participate in show discussions because I missed the window during which they were discussed. In devoted threads, that window never closes.
I second this statement. I love watching Lost on Wednesday nights, but I'm not the type to just on the computer right after it ends to post. I'd be able to join the discussion at a later time and not have to interupt other non-show related chains of conversation just to get my comments in.
Maybe it's the Bronzer in me, but I don't understand why you feel you can't pull a meara and reply to posts about a show three days later. If you have something new and interesting to say that wasn't said days ago, then why not just post it? I don't think there's an expiration date on how many hours/days/weeks a discussion is viable for response.
There isn't any reason, but Buffistas on-topic culture is a little different. And Buffistas post their on-topic stuff in a different manner than Bronzers did, and treat Natter differently than Bronzers treated a board.
Personally, I'm unbothered by any whitefont that's actual spoilerrific discussion (whether it's a subject that interests me or not), though I have grown a bit tired of the sequences of short Super Seekrit Messages.
I see not wanting to have a show discussion buried as natter rockets past as a problematic issue: I understand the annoyance factor, but I don't think new thread creation is the answer unless we're talking about one particular show that approaches the post volume of, say, Firefly. If interest in any show hits that level in a sustainable fashion, I think it should be spun off into its own thread.
My feeling on the matter, to put it a little harshly, is that we shouldn't start a thread (or multiple threads) just because some people are slightly inconvenienced. We're back to the board not being all things to all people.
Wow. Dana, I'm so glad you said what you did. I completely agree.
Furthermore, I feel fairly strongly that the ME/Jossverse/Minearverse is essentially still our charter. The other stuff, we all talk about and that's fine, but I think there will be a significant shift by focused threads for other shows. A shift I won't be pleased to see.
Oh, and I lurve the whitefont, especially the masterful non-spoily but tantalizing versions.

Mmmmmm, yeah, but, we weren't happy to see Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Wonderfalls, and (soon) Tru Calling get cancelled. That's what happens.
Liese agrees with me! Whoo!
To continue with the theme of harshness, I still haven't really seen any convincing arguments. I've seen a series of "it bothers me to read whitefont", "it bothers me to miss the beginning of the discussion", "it bothers me to try and re-start the discussion later", etc.
We have threadsuck. We have bookmarks. We have a shortcut for spoiler font. We're a demanding bunch. I don't understand how a TV thread, or individual TV threads are really going to solve any of these problems. There will still be whitefont. There will still be people on tape or TiVo or West Coast delay. There will still be natter in those threads when someone else would still rather be talking about the episode.
