The whitefont annoys me less than the blackfont on any given topic that annoys me.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
I find it ignorable at worst, pretty entertaining at best. Especially the found poetry of the patchwork whitefont.
The issue I have is that some folks are of the position that the white fonted discussions in Natter are a feasible alternative to show-threads. For some of us they are not. I'm lucky if I can keep up in Natter for more than a day...so most discussions there are not something I can participate in. As others have pointed out, there are places like the TV section of TT, or other such forums, but I'd rather stay here. I love the b.org spicy minds.
I absolutely get the idea of waiting to see what shows have "legs", but the "Natter option" is not for everyone.

I haven't contributed to this discussion up until now because I didn't really have a solution to the one problem I have. I've thought about it, and I still have no solution, but here goes...
I guess I just don't see any other one show, in and of itself, as reaaching the level of having its own thread. Some of us are talking about Lost, Alias, VM, and so on, but not to the point where I've felt overwhelmed by it in Natter (that's just me). I've never watched OC and I have no idea where the Seth thing comes from, but it doesn't bother me since I just skim past it.
The idea of talking about a few shows in one thread doesn't seem workable (to me) and neither does the idea of having one TV thread (to me).
I know that I have no suggestions here, and I don't mind trying something new, but this idea is not something I'm crazy about. OTOH, I'm not actually opposed to it, so I'm not sure I'd even vote against it.
Just out of curiousity, how many people have been bothered by the whitefont in Natter thus far?
I'm a little bugged by it, and I'm resistant to having conversations in whitefont. I guess I feel like if we're going to have the conversation anyway, we ought to have it somewhere where we can actually have it instead of making it invisible.
It's not a problem I feel desperately needs solving, though. I'd be generally for show-specific threads, but then on the Buffista Thread-Creation Kinsey Scale I'm well to the "sure, make more threads!" end, so.
As a person who watches nearly everything on time delay, I'm less bothered by white-font in Natter and more bothered by the inability to participate in show discussions because I missed the window during which they were discussed. In devoted threads, that window never closes.

Or, at least, I will be starting this weekend.

I'll alert the wife. I may have some 'splainin' to do.
I agree with the people who've said we should wait a little bit to see what, if any, shows are actually thread-worthy. Twenty posts on show day and the next day do not call for a new thread. And sorry to the folks who can't find the current discussions in Natter. I have no good ideas on that front.
