JC, Justin, Chris, Joey and Lance want to talk about the meaning of their music. So they suggest a song they think would be good for discussion. JC picks "Bye, Bye, Bye." Joey picks the Chili's theme song, Chris picks that one where in the video they're all with different girls and there are bubbles in the forest. Lance picks the one about it being all about the fans, and Justin picks "Me Against the Music."
They point out that Justin and Joey's picks aren't really their songs, leaving three. They then randomly decide "Bye Bye Bye" will go first, then the fan song, then the bubble song.
Yes! And JC goes out, finds some notes they wrote while making the song, and the video from my cousin's wedding where her nephew did an unbelievably dorky dance to "Bye Bye Bye," and tries to start the conversation rolling. Then he is distracted by go-go dancers.
My only thing with a mailing list (against it I mean) is that it's easier for me (and possibly me only) to have this type of discussion on a board. Or I possibly don't understand mailing lists. Also, it's more of a commitment for anyone who might just want to lurk, or not want to read every single book.
Heather had me right up until Chris picked TIPY...
Michele, however, has a firm grip on her JC characterization.
TIPY is the name of the song? Huh. I'm calling it TWWTAWDGATABITF.
This I Promise You.
I have a neighbor who is a popslasher! I'm taking notes.
Preferential voting, perhaps?
You just got my vote.
Of course, I was going to vote for it anyway. Such was my preference.
