Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination. Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, and that book Teppy's friends' cleaning lady found with...um... yeah.

Curse your memory!

I could lead a discussion on that, you betcha.

Well, there you go. And if the person who picked the book wanted to throw out discussion points, or link to other useful reading, or whatever, great. If not, then a simple, "So, what'd you think?"

Now, the only thing ... I'd want to make sure we didn't pick five of the same kind of book in a row. But, that's an easy enough thing to ask of people.

I want to read Sci-Fi with JenP, specifically.

Mwah!

Also? Sophia's will-bending machine works really, really well. It's a little scary.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And if it doesn't work well, we can discuss, winnow, bullshit consense, etc. in a couple of months, right?

As long as there's winnowing.

Gar, you know how people glaze on the parliamentary details. Don't take it personally.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The Old Fashioned Girl is the best book ever. You must read and be assimilated

Even unedited I can look crazy.

Even unedited I can look crazy.

I believe this.

I still don't understand how the voting works until Kristen gives me NSYNC examples.

As soon as I figure out how this thing works, I'll be sure and sum up the JC-Justin-Chris-Joey-Lance of it all for you.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

As soon as I figure out how this thing works, I'll be sure and sum up the JC-Justin-Chris-Joey-Lance of it all for you.

Can I declare it Lance's Nose Job?

Because I want to.

Seriously, all this discussion is doing is making my head hurt. Well, that and making me think I'd rather have a politics thread than a Book Club thread.

What about a b.org mailing list for a book club? Seriously. Pimp it in the lit thread, announce new books being discussed once a month or however often. Run it as best works.
