Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Those are basically my pros and cons as well. It just seems that having nowhere to discuss them does our community a disservice.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I also think it's a good idea.

I further think that referencing Wonderfalls indirectly-"Who's got your Lovesick Ass now?" for example-will help mute the response.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I dearly want a thread, would rather have it not-Timstamped, and I think that by the time we've gone through discussion and voting, the media-induced flurry will have stabilized enough that it won't draw undue attention.

Here's a problem with "hiding" the thread -- can we actually come up with an obscure yet recognizable slug as well? Because that's googlable too.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, there's no way it would be up and running before next week anyway, right? What with the discussion period and voting period? I'm thinking by then interest should have flagged even more. (Outside interest, I mean.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

What everyone else said. Not gonna go, but I think there is a need for it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I see why having a seperate thread would be nice to discuss the unaired eps, but weren't the unaired eps of Firefly discussed in the Firefly thread?

Maybe if there was a Wonderfalls thread, devoted just to Wonderfalls, aired and unaired eps, it would take some of the pressure off Minearverse (which I am assuming is the point of the proposal - tell me if I'm wrong) and then when Tim has something else in the hopper, we can talk about it in Minearverse.

I have confidence in Buffista abilities in this area.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

weren't the unaired eps of Firefly discussed in the Firefly thread?

Not until the DVDs came out. They may have been whitefonted, I don't remember, but they weren't discussed in regular font.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Aimee, unaired FFs were in spoilers till after the DVDs as an official policy.
