No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Our wings are not tired.

I don't know where the votes are going. I sent a test email and it didn't come to me. Brenda also volunteered, but they could still be going to the last counter.

ita! Has votes been directed to a vote counter?

OK, I am getting votes now. If you voted early and are unsure if I got it either send me a note or vote again. Don't worry, I won't count twice!

Stompy, is it thread closing time?

If I only had a brain...

Laura, did you get mine?

No Betsy. The first vote after ita forwarded to me was at 12:55PM EDT

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Not having had much luck with trying to explain things in the past - I'm going to take a shot at explaining Betsy's proposal to people who are still confused.

Basically it is a motion to close discussion (for a time) on issues that were settled before our current process was in place.

Voting yes closes discussion (for a time) on issues that otherwise could be brought up.

Voting no leaves things as they are - meaning they can continue to be brought up and voted on at any time if enough seconds are obtained.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Proposal: To add a new thread dedicated to the works of Tim Minear. The purpose of the thread will be to discuss past, present, and future series and episodes, and also to honor one of our own. Suggestions for thread title can be discussed in Bureaucracy if the proposed thread passes.

Hm. I thought I'd feel taller.

But apparently, double-posting.

So. Yeah. A thread.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm OK with it, although part of me doesn't wonder if it might be better to focus the thread in on "Touched by a Crazy Person," and work from there, so as to have consistency with the other show threads.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Like Victor, I'd prefer it be a show thread, but I'll support it either way.

Go Tim. Choose Tim.
