Goodbye and Good Riddance 2025: This too shall pass. Like a kidney stone.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, and wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.Take stock, reflect, butch, moan, vent, celebrate. We are all here for it. So long 2025; do better 2026.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh hey, I ran across a spreadsheet and thought I'd tel you -- I'm the one who made all the pillowcases; about 30 to individual Buffistas.

That is so cool. I always wondered and thought it would always be a mystery.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

A belated thank you Java Cat. I still love my pillowcase.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I love mine too! Thank you!

Not javachik

Great! Glad folks like them. I had a really good time & sorry maybe to not keep the fun mystery?

Plei, if you see this, the first time we did a blitz from Edgefield to Bothell, getting every WA McMen. stamp, we were near the Space Needle when some game or another got out from the sports arena. Memorably awful. We shoulda just holed up at the Queen Anne McMen & waited it out.

I loved Bothell! We only stayed over the once, just stamps & go the 2nd time. I was besotted with the rain. Had to have been maybe July. Rain! In July ! Blew my mind! (It basically does not rain from June to November in Mediterranean climate Bay Area.) Edgefield is still the crown jewel methinks.

Happy half a year!

P.S. in case anyone goes to Southern WA, the Kamala McMen has hidden rooms inside hidden rooms, couple of them. ! The Tacoma Elks Lodge McMen. has a hidden bar that you pretty much can only find going one way & not the other in a corridor. I love those guys. So much fun.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We don't usually get much rain in July, honestly, so you got lucky!

I love the Anderson School (the Bothell one), but I'll have to try Edgefield. That it has some rooms with private baths is a huge plus.
