Okay, Midnight Burger people (that's just Jen and -t, I think), I hope you're listening to (or plan to listen to) Welcome to the Horizon, because the S1 finale just did a thing, and then in the middle of that thing, did a THING, and then there's a post-credits scene* that takes the THING and runs with it. O_o
*(Post-credits scene in the sense that the theme music plays for a minute or less, and then the scene happens. There is nothing after the long-ass part at the end where Joe reads all the Patreon supporter names. I refuse to listen to that.)
Ha, I do listen to all that! Well, I let it keep playing and the sounds go in my ears, presumably. All those names are weirdly hypnotic. But I am also sticking to my one episode a day schedule so I am still in season 3 for a couple more weeks? I think? And might know what you are talking about three weeks after that? I should put it on my calendar to come back to this post then…super intrigued by the THING
Yes! I just listened to it this afternoon! Such a great ride WttH is -- wow, thats a familiar inutialism, ha! (Also, I think Eldin is my current favorite.)

I've listened to the first one, have the page bookmarked, but haven't found time to continue, yet.
Yeah I am way more of a morning person than I used to be but I am still never going to be someone who wants to start work at 6am ever.

Trinket is my favorite, followed very closely by Doug. And June!
Right on schedule like the oncologists predicted, Tim's side effects (mouth sores and throat pain) are worse, even though radiation ended last week. He does have some meds that help make the pain not as bad, but it still sucks. And he needs to not lose any more weight, which is difficult when he doesn't want to eat (and he is a little stubborn about not drinking enough of the Boost Very High Calorie because he says it tastes weird [I respect that, but sometimes you need to deal with a weird taste so you don't end up with a PEG tube] [and also he says other times that his taste buds are totally offline now, so how could Boost taste weird?]).
On top of that, he seems to have a cold/respiratory bug, which is mostly a hacking cough, which he also has meds for. So he's been off work most of this week, because recovering is his top priority. It's just weird to see his side effects get worse after treatment is over. Hopefully the Why Is It Worse After Treatment Is Over? period won't last too long.
That's frustrating. It's hard to make yourself drink weird stuff, but when you gotta, you gotta.
I'm sorry that the post treatment phase is so awful. ~ma for this to be a rapid phase.
