Yeah I am way more of a morning person than I used to be but I am still never going to be someone who wants to start work at 6am ever.

Yes! I just listened to it this afternoon! Such a great ride WttH is -- wow, thats a familiar inutialism, ha! (Also, I think Eldin is my current favorite.)
Trinket is my favorite, followed very closely by Doug. And June!
I've listened to the first one
Yay!

Excellent choices!
Right on schedule like the oncologists predicted, Tim's side effects (mouth sores and throat pain) are worse, even though radiation ended last week. He does have some meds that help make the pain not as bad, but it still sucks. And he needs to not lose any more weight, which is difficult when he doesn't want to eat (and he is a little stubborn about not drinking enough of the Boost Very High Calorie because he says it tastes weird [I respect that, but sometimes you need to deal with a weird taste so you don't end up with a PEG tube] [and also he says other times that his taste buds are totally offline now, so how could Boost taste weird?]).
On top of that, he seems to have a cold/respiratory bug, which is mostly a hacking cough, which he also has meds for. So he's been off work most of this week, because recovering is his top priority. It's just weird to see his side effects get worse after treatment is over. Hopefully the Why Is It Worse After Treatment Is Over? period won't last too long.
That's frustrating. It's hard to make yourself drink weird stuff, but when you gotta, you gotta.
I'm sorry that the post treatment phase is so awful. ~ma for this to be a rapid phase.
Aw, poor Tim. Drink the weird tasting Boost! I hope this phase is over soon and does not get worse.
Maybe you could zhuzh up the Boost with some other ingredients and one of these: [link] Or include it in a milkshake?
I have successfully picked up my new glasses! Costco has gone to a locker and QR code model and I couldn't find the right door for a while. I did eventually see it, but after all that I sped off without circling back to the food court for a hot dog so I had to console myself with In-n-out on the way back to the office.
Or include it in a milkshake?
I've suggested adding it to smoothies -- my experience with smoothies is that enough berries will cover the taste of just about anything. I'm trying to not be too much of a nagging wife, while still trying to keep him as healthy as possible. Although if any situation calls for nagging, it's keeping him healthy.
That ice cream maker looks cool, though!

The irony, of course, being that if you had your new glasses, you would have been able to find the right door immediately.
I had an eye exam in June or July and then all the cancer stuff happened, and I have still not gotten around to getting new glasses yet.
My list of stuff still to be done that have been postponed because of cancer shenanigans: new glasses, colonoscopy, cat to the vet, Corolla to the dealer for yearly maintenance. That's not too bad of a list, I guess.
