Our nurses gave me this advice on prepping JZ's port before it needed to be accessed, and I always got compliments on my technique:
Don't rub the anesthetic cream in. Just put a generous dollop of cream on the site and then put the clear film bandage over it. No rubbing! Big dollop!

IJWTS, I think my work sending out a late Friday email urging employees to contact our state reps about a bill that the corporation is against is inappropriate. Although it did prompt me to set a google alert so I will hopefully find out what happens when it happens

Dang it, I broke a tooth. (Or maybe a filling -- some of my fillings are the composite tooth-colored material, so I'm not actually sure if it's tooth or filling that came out.) Anyway, nothing hurts, so I'm debating whether I should see an emergency dentist today or wait until Monday to call my regular dentist. Probably the smart thing would be to see the emergency dentist today.
