I also had oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast! Though also a few strawberries.
jump to the part where the mammogram is over, Tim's cancer is gone, my hip doesn't hurt anymore, the Zepbound worked, and the democrats control all 3 branches of government and are actually getting shit done.
I support this idea. Particularly for the “skip to democrats” idea.
Meanwhile work has popped off like crazy while everyone is out of office in Europe and I am trying to have friends visiting and going out of town next Friday and then leaving on vacation after Labor Day. Ahh!!!
That's pretty rude of work
Oh, blueberries!
Arthur turns 2 in a week or so, and frozen blueberries ("boodiddies" which manages to sound both dirty and racist) are among his favorite things, so I'm making blueberry cake (from the French cakes book recipe) for his birthday. So, I got some extra at Costco...3 bags may have been excessive, though.
I had a feeling that "too many blueberries" was not really a thing...
Turns out you are right! It looked like I was eating a bowl of squid-inked oatmeal, though. Funny and tasty.
Debet, that cake sounds like a glorious bday treat. Two years, though? What? I think your island time runs faster or something.
And...
Where is vacation, meara? Vicariously traveling minds want to know.
I'm glad Matilda is moved in and excited about college. And yay for Mac signing up for college courses.
I keep reading and meaning to comment and then end up being overthinking or something.
I saw the dietician on Tuesday. He didn't have any magic cure for me or a special meal plan that would solve all my problems. I didn't think he would but it would have been nice. It was a full hour appointment (or maybe 50 mins ) which is longer than I expected. I did a whole history of my medical stuff and various issues
The gist of it is. Instead of doing an elimination diet he said if I eat something and have any kind of problems write down what I ate and what the problems are and then avoid those for awhile and try a bite of whatever I think it is and see what happens if I'm fine wait a few days and then try 2 bites and so on. If there are multiple ingredients it may take a bit to figure out what could be the issue but I won't be so restricted in trying to cut out everything that could possibly be an issue
Also artificial sweeteners can cause problems for people with GERD and I should avoid them. That will be a little harder because a lot of the protein bars and protein yogurts and things have suraclose in them.
