I spent a good part of yesterday in urgent care, since my knee was still hurting a lot. The urgent care I went to in the morning gave me a knee brace and a prescription for extra-extra strength ibuprofen. They also told me to go to a different one to get an X-ray, since they were not doing them that day. After lunch I went to get an X-ray, which didn't show anything. I was told that if it was still hurting in a week, I should go to an orthopedist.
I can almost hear it; the most eclectic musical trio in the Afterlife.

What is extra extra strength ibuprofen?? Is it just 800 mg that you take on of every 8 hours?
Probably. That's the prescription dose, not to exceed 2400 in 24 hours.
The prescription I got is 600 mg, with confusing instructions. First part says take 3 times a day for 5 days, but the rest says something else.I'll take one at bed time and one in the morning and see how it goes.
The general rule is 200 mg Ibuprofen per every 2 hours (anything less than 600 mg per dose is pretty pointless, ime). I don’t understand the point of prescription ibuprofen. Maybe just taking fewer pills at a time?

I think the point is that it's in an 800mg pill, rather than having to take four at a time. But then Sheryl's pill is 600, so who knows.
Side note: JZ was completely possessed by glee when she got a Queen Bee pin in the mail after acing the Spelling Bee.

Pretty chill weekend here. We went out for breakfast this morning, so that was the big outing. It's just... hot.
