Laura, that sucks. Much relationship~ma to them.
My brother gets in town today! Hooray! My only plan for the day is to get him at the airport and deliver him to my mom's house, and then hang out (and I'd better get dinner out of the deal). I suppose I should hop in the shower.
Yay for Bro time!
Yeah, my son is 33, and I have known her for 6 years, so I am well acquainted with their flaws. I hope they can both work on their issues together. Who knows. I am here to listen to both of them without judgment, and they are at least talking to me, if not so much with each other. He is blasting her with messages, so I advised him to give her some space. While also suggesting she express her issues with him.
That they are both talking to you sounds like a good thing.
I got myself to the sale location and have logged in to be able to work but only now realize I did not bring a power cord for ye olde laptop. Oops. The battery may last the half day before I would be offline anyway, we shall see...
Have fun with your bro, Tep! And in the shower, if you like, why not?
Whee, have fun, Steph!
Good luck at the register today, -t.
Peaches, apples, blueberries, corn, cucumbers, baby tomatoes, and grown tomatoes is today's haul. But not in huge amounts, because there are only two of us plus I'm taking some to my aunt.
I want to do something with a couple of peaches besides just eat them. But I don't know what yet. Suggestions welcome.
Roasted peaches are delicious
Oh, I've never done that, only really poached pears
The fruit dessert I always make on vacation is: cut into chunks (unless it's like, berries), toss with a little sugar + seasonings (whatever goes with the thing you have) then pour Bisquick on top (add liquids according to the box) and bake. Boom, instant cobbler.
