But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

Thrive to spite them

So I apparently can't eat oatmeal and carrots. I'm going from work because it's effecting me so much.

I had oatmeal for breakfast. Well an oatmeal honey almond cup. And oatmeal is apparently the worst thing I can eat.

I have decided that until I can talk to the GI dr I'm going to avoid caffeine, carbonated beverages (except for the ginger ale I got on the way home and I'm not going to drink it all), spicy and fried foods. And not worry about the rest of the things and see if I'll feel better

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And oatmeal is apparently the worst thing I can eat.

What a betrayal! Oatmeal is so full of healthy things.

I just had my half mug of oat bran this morning.

I'm feeling good about Project Self Improvement. Five months into Pilates and I've gotten so much stronger and more capable. And with the weight loss I've dropped another pant size and I'm right on the cusp of dipping below another round number.

I've started to buy what I think of as "Aspirational Clothes" - items one size down from where I currently am.

Also I've been getting my manicure done weekly and my brows are in good shape. Just need to schedule an appointment with my dermatologist for this week.

Punishingly Intricate

That seems wise, askye.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

In completely frivolous news, Blue Diamond Chile 'n Lime Almonds are my new favorite happy place.

Always Anti-fascist!

My phone's not working, and we're at the end of the two=hour window. Wasn't uptight, but now I am...if it weren't for me, we wouldn't need this landline anyway--kind of wish mom had run a pity rap on them-stoic doesn't work for everything.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh, erika! I hope they show up and fix it right quick

Chile and lime is good stuff. I introduced my parents to chile&lime flavored refried beans as bean dip recently - mom had seen it but thought the lime was like the alkaline stuff rather than the fruit and that did not appeal

Always Anti-fascist!

It was the fax line that we used to use to send in paperwork to the state...they swapped that out for the most annoying software so we don't fax much anymore.(we get bothered faster. Progress?) It would have been good for me if the touchscreen had not been so ascendant...makes my fingers just like a newborn deer. definitely explains why the phone acted, confused in a way.

Good luck Erika?

I am annoyed I keep getting migraines again. I’d gotten down to one or two a month, even went a whole month without one, and now they’re ramping up again (I’m on my 4th pill in the past two weeks). Thank god my meds work well but wtf body.

And good luck with fleas Matt. And with oatmeal, askye?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I did finally get a collar on Molly when she was walking across my desk for attention. We'll see if the collars have the desired effect over the next couple of weeks; if not I'll check with my vet about prescription insecticide. I'd hoped that spraying my thresholds with Ortho would keep flightless bugs out of my house, but obviously that didn't work.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Chile lime pistachios are amazeballs.

David I need to tap into some of that energy. I’ve been really backsliding in my healthy eating/exercise and I’m not happy about it.

then he and I worked on his new Lego set(Hei-Hei from Moana)

There’s a Hei-Hei Lego?!!?

Gordie is on Simpatica Trio which covers fleas, ticks, and heartworm. It’s monthly - three months would be very nice. There used to be (maybe still is) a six month heartworm injection but my vet won’t do that anymore because of some emerging side effect data.

I’m still low key annoyed that dogs can get Lyme vaccinated and people can’t.
