Three more positions eliminated today, we are told via email. Meanwhile, have started training the new guy, who is a senior manager, and the still newish senior manager who is moving from supply to our developing hybrid supply/demand team, with the training being led by the started-in-January manager (not, please note, senior). It already looks like a power struggle. And then there's me, just a planner (oh, wait, senior planner but there are no other planners so who cares) but the only one that isn't remote and the only one who has been here more than a year. And the contractor in the Philippines. And we all report to the same VP. It is the most bizarre organizational structure.
