ltc just told me that a boy in her class was rating the girls beauty on a scale of 1-5. He needs a girlfriend who’s a 5 and wanted to make sure ltc knew she was only a 3 and that her friend was only a 1. WTF 8 year old boy?!? I am so filled with rage right now.

Thank you for all reacting that strongly because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. I have already sent an email with the specifics to her teacher, who is absolutely lovely, so hopefully the situation will be dealt with.

He’s either 8 or 9. They’re in third grade. Technically I’m friends with the mom on FB, but I don’t know her well at all and don’t know how she’d react if I contacted her directly. So I’m going through the teacher.

Agree. The mom would be put on the defensive while the teacher should have more objective experience.
