I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that looks very pleasant!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Magnesium has helped my leg and arm cramps.

So long as the lifts work okay, I would go for the 11th floor place over the 3rd floor place, myself.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

My basic thoughts on the Paris options:

1) I'm very jealous; I'm so overdue for a visit.

2) The location of the first apartment is probably better if you plan on taking the métro a lot to get around the city and SEE ALL THE THINGS. It's right near République station, which is a major hub; I think 5 or 6 lines cross there. (Also a major gathering spot. All the great protests start there.) Neighborhood-wise, it's nice but there's not a lot; however, it is right on the Canal St. Martin, which is lovely for quiet, contemplative walking à la Amélie.

3) The second apartment is more in the thick of things, not a ton of stuff right there, but very close to some of the best walking-around neighborhoods in the city such as Le Marais, the more lively Bastille, and the lovely Place des Vosges in between. Also, depending on your definition of walkable, anything in the center core (arr. 1-6). This would be better the better option if you want to just wander and soak up atmosphere.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

If it were me, I would go with the 2nd option (3rd floor studio near the Marais) for the more central location.

Always Anti-fascist!

I want to see a manager about the human digestive tract. ETA: am also envious at the thought of trips to Paris. I haven't seen Seattle, yet, even. Passe or not, maybe I can put together a posse to make some of those things happen.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I woke up at 530AM with a terrible cramp in my calf. OWWW. Guess I need to eat more...something? Magnesium?

Magnesium and potassium. And, for me, sodium. I have 'fasting salts' at home. Leg and foot cramps are the bane of my existence and I hate them.

With me it's mag, because I have an absorption issue, so I take a ton, BUT... also make sure you're hydrated enough. Leg cramps at night for me is a sure sign that I'm dehydrated.

Samesies. They suck so hard.
