"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so glad you had a good coworker who was there for you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Our wings are not tired.

I'm packing today to go to NY/CT and realize I only need to pack toiletries because all my cool-weather clothes are already in Otter Lake, and I'll be going there first. Leaving tomorrow morning!! Just going to wear slides with socks to the airport because my closed-toe shoes are up north too. Alas, my sister still has the flu, so I won't be able to hug her. There will be Buffista hugs later in the week though!!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

askye, I'm so sorry about Cheeto.

I have a special Monday curse for computer programs (Microsoft Word in particular) that randomly crash and lead to lost work. (I have autosave turned on, but if it crashes between autosaves, I still lose some work.) A pox upon these dastardly computer programs!

Okay, back to it.

So sorry askye.

I successfully got a good nights sleep, tidied the house for the cleaners, worked a half day, packed, and am in a Lyft to the airport. Fingers crossed the rest of the travel is smooth!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Repairs are being made in my apartment bathroom to fix a water leak from my bathtub. Tile has been removed, sheetrock and insulation pulled. Now replacements are going in. If all continues to go well, it should be done today, and usable tomorrow.

The noise has not been too bad, but I hate (Hate! Hate!) having strangers in my cave.

Where are you off to, meara?

The noise has not been too bad, but I hate (Hate! Hate!) having strangers in my cave.

Indeed. How many things get put off because we don't want the intruder?
