That sounds reasonable. As they say, follow the doctor's orders. It takes some planning not to use your hands!

Yikes Brenda, self throat punch is bad! Save it for the nazis!
And wow, medical system in action Teppy!
Yow, Brenda! Throat and face are not ideal landing gear!
Steph, I hope everything goes as smoothly as the run-up to the surgery seems to be going.

Yes, this!
Everyone, be safe out there.
I got my eyebrow microblading touched up yesterday
I'm overdue for: haircut, color, and pedicure. But I'm not scheduling anything until I get the hand surgery scheduled, because getting feeling back in my right hand takes top priority and I will clear my schedule to make it happen as quickly as possible.
Then: haircut, color, and pedicure. (I do my own brow shaping.)
I have no brows, and my bangs cover what tiny blond bits I do have. My SIL will shape and color them from time to time, but that startles me! I do need to get my hair trimmed. Not sure when I am going to fit that in, and I may end up just trimming my bangs myself instead.

I am more on side of TOO MANY BROWS AND THEY ARE TOO LONG. I look like Eugene Levy.
ETA: My glasses mostly cover my TOO MANY BROWS.
Just to hold up my small corner of the making-the-US-a-better-more-inclusive-place-also-fuck-you-current-administration: I am editing yet another transgender health article today, because the AMA is also in the camp of fuck-you-we-publish-what-we-want-and-science-is-real-you-absolute-shitheads.
I don't think I've ever expressed a specific interest in or appreciation for editing the trans articles, but I may give off a vibe of gimme gimme gimme. And/or it's possible I edit the trans articles in a very straightforward and supportive, tactful manner.
It's possible my finest editing experience was an article about transgender patients' preferences when discussing gender in health care settings. It included a table with the demographics of the people who were surveyed for the article, and the table listed, separately, each participant's (1) gender identity, (2) gender expression, and (3) sexual orientation. So you'd get things like — gender identity: "trans butch"; gender expression: "Masc of center and chaotic"; sexual orientation: "Queer with more attraction currently to men." Everything in quotes is exactly what the participants said and exactly what we published. My personal favorites were one individual whose gender identity was "gender nonconforming" and gender expression was "genderfuck femme" (I got to edit and see published a medical article with the word "fuck" in it — personal best for me) and one individual whose gender identity was "genderqueer" and gender expression was "Surfer or ski bro (depending on season) but add makeup and earrings."
I love that we were able to publish, in table form for easy comparison, something showing the differences between gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, AND that showed the broad range of identities/expressions/orientations that humans have. Absolutely seriously glorious.

Years ago I wouldn't have expected this, but in recent years I have applauded their press releases that have been pro-science and common sense.
Oh that is wonderful Steph.
