We set the alarm for 3 a.m., scuttled outside to look at totality (very cool!), and went back to bed. This morning, my brain isn't loving the interrupted sleep, but coffee is my faithful companion.
Also, Happy Pi Day!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Happy Pi Day!
Everybody raise your hand if you know exactly where your passport or birth certificate is!
Passport, yes; birth certificate....maybe? I know the first place I'd look, anyway. I do know exactly where both kids' birth certificates (and passports) are.
I like watching eclipses, but 2:26 am was not a practical time to do so what with me being comatose. I spent most of yesterday afternoon clearing out bookcases and sorting contents at the office. Between the dust and fumes from the marker I was using to label boxes, I was woozy for the evening and turned in early.
I did not stay up until 3am to see the blood moon, but a friend of mine who is an amazing photographer did: [link]
Happy π Day!
Maybe keto pizzas on carb-free tortillas are on the menu tonight.
Who’s got the bubble wrap? I have had a week y’all. I strained my back moving furniture around for a new couch coming in on Monday So I’ve been moving around like I’m 80 for the past several days. Despite that I accidentally stepped on something coming into the house last night that sent my leg skidding out from under me, and I took a spectacular fall, coming down on my *throat* and forehead on the back of a chair.
I am fine, except for some soreness and hard to explain bruises. Good thing I’m on video calls all day.
Whoa, Brenda! Take care of yourself!
I went to my friends to watch the eclipse but it was too cloudy here. It was fun hanging out on the roof in the middle of the night for a while though.
That does sound fun!
I was dreaming. About the Pope, strangely enough. First he was just a metal sculpture head, but you'll be relieved to know he eventually took human form.
I forgot to look for my passport when I went to bed. I'll check today.

Great picture!
Who’s got the bubble wrap?
Brenda, yikes!
Ouch, take it easy, Brenda. Falls are a very bad plan.
