All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry for the loss of your family's house, Plei.

We had Mr.S here Fri-Sat, since there was an event this morning at the RTC he had expressed interest in at the time we were setting up the visit. No meltdowns, but it wasn't a great visit. He woke us up around 3:30 Saturday morning because he had thrown up. He got sick several more times during the day, so we brought him to the nurses' station at the RTC a little early. Poor boy also had chills.

We think it was food poisoning, as he had insisted on stopping at a convenience store on the way here, and got a spicy chicken sandwich. At least we know it wasn't COVID or FluA or FluB, since he tested negative for all of them.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh no! Poor Mr. S.

I just watched a really great interview which was Michael Rosenbaum interviewing James Marsters. I feel so bad that Seeing Red sent him to therapy, but it makes sense. They both seem like funny, real, thoughtful men. [link]

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Bad news, losing my sense of taste, which I avoided last time I had COVID. Good news, got an offer on the Dallas house already for our listing price (which was pretty reasonable).

The status is NOT quo.

So I immediately replaced my pillows when I got back home.
What brand??

Sorry to hear about Mr. S. Food poisoning is the worst.

Good news about the house, Dana!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Matilda is lobbying hard to adopt a dog she's fallen in love with in Japan and bring it home. That seems dauntingly difficult from a logistical standpoint

It's not that hard to import to the U.S. If it is every only a logistical issue, I can walk you through it.

I'm in a deeply committed relationship with my shredded memory foam pillow, but those look verrrra nice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The sun wouldn't rise until after 8 in the winter here if we stayed on DST all the time, so that's a hard no for me.

Ugh, please no. Winter is depressing enough already.

I bought some medium-expensive shredded memory foam pillows from Brooklinen a few years ago, and I adore them. (I think I read somewhere that you're supposed to replace pillows at least once a year? Does anyone actually do that??)
