Always Anti-fascist!

Our weekly town hall thing got Zoom-bombed with lame pornographic images.(if they were literally lame, I might be fascinated, but...)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Random: Ha! I just typed "Thirded!" In a chat as if everyone would know what I meant. I mean, maybe... but it is funny to assume the rest of the word gets Phoenix-isms. Heh.

I've definitely done this.

I’m gonna just say go spite, choose spite

Thirded.

This whole crypto strategic reserve and the shell company thing have me thinking of that time on The Wire when Stringer Bell thought he was going legit but Clay Davis revealed to us that all the advice and guidance he had been giving was designed to harvest his wealth for the already established. Not that what's happening is anyone going legit, rather the opposite, but still getting taken by those who have been in the game longer

Oh, totally. Really want Josh Weil to win that house seat in FL--kind of tired of him blowing up my inbox. (Everyone could come up with a plan other than "Maybe that crippled chick out in the desert has a nickel she's not using!" That would make me feel a lot better. Especially, since who knows when they're coming after my nickels.) Anyone else ever have, well, let's call it a work project, where they wonder just how much of themselves to put into it? Because there is...kind of a universe where I kill it(and I'm not being immodest--that's just, you know, how unsexy this work is.) But I threw myself *hard* into school and college, and obviously that was the path to fame, fortune and popularity because I've got time to type this at 11 am. My life is obviously on whatever white ex-Lutherans say instead of "fleek", right? Not.) My supervisor loves the part of me that digs in and won't let go, but, like, so what? We're cool, but he can't even pay me. But I feel weird playing the "Work won't love me back," card too much because a. constitutional crisis and 2. who's left? Netflix?(well,Ok, I've made a bit more time for art, lately, but there's not *a lot* waiting at home)

Yeah, don't burn yourself out. You, personally, matter, too.

On a shallower note - we are supposed to be switching to (or adding on, IDK) Slack at work because that will make us more efficient apparently. I just got an invite for our first training and it is at noon. Annoying. Even more irritating, I already have a noon meeting that day

Our wings are not tired

I have been using Slack for a lot of years and really like it.

ION I'm in Boise this week designing a show.

I'm also a Slack fan. Actually use both Slack and Google Chat at work and Slack is so much better.

Google chat really should be better. It feels like Google just isn't trying to make it really good. So much of GSuite is really good.

That's good to know. We've been using GChat (sort of, we still mostly just email or call, really), I'll be pretty happy to have something better once I learn to use it I'm sure.

So, finally have a minute to check on Amazon's reporting and the graph for last week already has a visible dip on Friday which is gratifying and when I look at the whole month it is still visible. Digging into the numbers a little, there's a 14% drop in revenue from Thursday and 13% from the Friday before (13% and 5% drop in units respectively). Not bad! Looking at the whole week (which is how I usually do look at it), there's a 6% revenue drop and 9% drop in units. Not nothing, but doesn't stand out significantly looking at YTD by week. Note, this is just across our products, not a representative sample of Amazon's goods but I doubt we would have been especially more or less affected than anything else.
