I hope no cold manifests, Dana.
David, has EM moved to Montana? I may have missed a memo. And I stand in awe of your housekeeping, dishwashing and disposing skills of leftover food. Also, I hope they find your earring.
It's been raining all night and day here. It's almost completely washed away last week's snow. I did breakfast dishes and also performed the Waterdance this morning, for the first time since I fell down the back stairs. Waterdance is scalding and scrubbing the waterbottles and caps with brushes and refilling with filtered water and stashing them in the fridge. Sounds piddly, but I'm glad I've regained that much function.
I see the eye surgeon this week to have the cloudy fluid in the capsule that replaced the cataract removed and replaced with clear fluid. Looking forward to clearer vision.
Wow, Cousin Nicole that is chaos indeed.
I am v puzzled because I cannot for the life of me find my bullet journal. I have looked everywhere. I had it a couple days ago. It’s almost certainly in my house. So where the heck is it?
I’m trying to break the habit of constantly futzing around on social media or otherwise with my phone while I’m watching TV So I decided today was a good day to teach myself to crochet.
Given that I am constitutionally incapable of deciphering the little hand diagrams, this may take a while. But I’ve got a solid chain stitch going, even if my technique is, um, unconventional.
Good luck, Brenda!!
I found the journal, I had accidentally put it in with some supplies when getting stuff out
I have amethyst studs I don't wear anymore... didn't know you'd be the Buffista I share that with, Hec!
(Nothing wrong with them--they just...kind of remind me of things I'd rather not.)
I just remembered I have tomorrow off. No need to head to bed.
woohoo
David, has EM moved to Montana? I may have missed a memo.
EM's partner owns property up in Montana and he's retired and loves to ski up there. Also, his son, Jack (one of Emmett's old teammates) lives up there. Anyway, so EM tends to spend the winters up in Montana now. She'll be back in April.
Also, I hope they find your earring.
She did! Also, thanks for the offer, erika.
And I stand in awe of your housekeeping, dishwashing and disposing skills of leftover food.
I have clean sheets on my bed! I did two loads of laundry, and my dishes, and went out for a walk to get a belated Second Coffee, grab some veg for the pigs and I put out the trash for pickup tomorrow. I ate some leftover soup for dinner.
Now I'm tuckered out, but with my bed made, and the dishes done, I can just chill out for the rest of the evening.
A full day indeed!
And yet I still have so much to do to excavate the Depression Pit of my bedroom.
I keep thinking of 50s television when TV shows would be sponsored by a particular ad client. Like..."My Three Sons is brought to you by Westinghouse. Westinghouse brings good things to life."
That is, I'm thinking of that construction as "Dishes and Laundry are brought to you by Sisyphus. When your task is endless and eternal, you can count on Sisyphus."
I've got a whole cost/benefit analysis going on in my head now about "is it worth it to cook for myself today."
Hec, please hug Jen for me. It was so good to see her in May, and I was very glad it happened before my world fell in.
She can hug you for me at the same time. Convenient, that.
