Your quote reminds of something. In MD, there is a cozy mystery convention called Malice Domestic that I have helped staff at for the last couple of years. Since it all about the cozy, there is, yes, an afternoon tea. With the little cucumber sandwiches and everything!

Well, Mr. Flea has decided to take the resignation offer. He’s going to start by applying for the open job of assistant superintendent of water in our town. He’s been miserable at the EPA for years, his entire division is non statutory, and he was worried about getting fired before hitting his MRA. So… we’ll see. We all have a lot of feels about this.
