I look more rad than Lutheranism

That’s hilarious. I can just imagine her up all night thinking through where to look for the last couple. Nice work.

I really didn't make them difficult -- one was perched on the thermostat (though it was red, against a dark red wall), one was on her yoga mat in the spare room, one was behind the coffee creamer in the fridge, an orange one was tucked up next to an orange in the fruit bowl, etc. Hiding any in the kitchen was a challenge, because the kitchen/living room is an open-plan layout, so everyone in the living room could see right into the kitchen, and I am not stealthy.

I feel like from what you’ve told us your mom is totally the type that would be thinking about it all night. Well played!

I had a very busy Saturday and a very chill Sunday and yet neither made me feel better. Ugh this existential dread is killer.

I feel like I introduced new enrichment to my mom's enclosure.

That made me laugh so hard. Well done with the ducks!

Welcome home, Brenda, and thanks for sharing your trip with us!

I hear you, meara. I had a really lovely SuperBowling event with friends last night (actual bowling, though they were showing the game on ginormo video screens at the end of each lane, so it was kind of a two-fer), and then we had dinner, and it was great, but... also with the existential dread.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I feel like I introduced new enrichment to my mom's enclosure.

Heh!

Blue skies in San Francisco again. Brunch scheduled with Emmett, then therapy.

I had to find a way to prevent myself from rambling in therapy so I've taken to a bullet pointed list of topics to move through.

Under topic "Japan" there will be subtopics:
Tourism
How its affecting Matilda
How it's affecting David

One bullet point is: "The Meme With Two Frogs"

I have a guest coming out in two weeks which is forcing me to clean house. Looking forward to the guest and having a clean house.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is awesome! I am delighted that this is a thing that happened in the world.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got an email that said Matilda has been accepted at University of San Francisco.

This is the private (Jesuit) college that's about two blocks from us.

I would prefer for her to get out of SF for college but it's a very good school, and it's good to have an acceptance in your back pocket.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Wow! Congratulations!

That's great, David!

-t, it's so fun - we've been doing it for a couple of decades! This is the first year we actually had the football game showing, hee.
