Our wings are not tired.

So far so good with the eyeballs. I go again today to check the pressure and such. It has been almost every day! Generally the video switch has been changed from muted/sepia mode to vivid. I've had to turn down the brightness on the computer and phone. I was a big ball of nerves baby for the process itself, but all the subsequent testing is fine.

Yay new eyeballs Laura!! Boo snow and cold in Florida. Very “wolves at the NY library” in that movie whose name I forget.

David do note that you can download Google maps for offline viewing if needed/wanted! Can be very good for low data situations.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Day After Tomorrow?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yep, that's it. Watchable despite the beyond awful science.

I haven't actually seen it, but I remember seeing clips

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Phew, house closing got pushed out another week. Thank you, concrete, for being difficult to pour in cold weather. We are in gear on packing and fixing stuff around the house, but more time is for sure welcome.

Good news, Dana.

I have a very low threshold for quality when it comes to movies like Day After Tomorrow. I love them fairly unconditionally. I don't know why.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Good news, Dana!

Glad the eyeballs are working for you, Laura. I am due for a glaucoma check soon.

Itterasshai, David! (Come home safe!) Sounds like you guys are going great. I am not chartreuse with jealousy. I promise!!!

I am trying to keep my head above water. We have to replace some tile in our hallway but we have a very helpful handy person (trans woman, in fact!) and she is an angel helping us with decisions. Christopher has had another interview (not likely) but is putting in for a few more jobs. Sadly, they are out of state and considering how much hostility remote work is receiving, I’m worried.

We’ll burn that bridge when we get to it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You’ve built such a great community around you in SP. Pulling hard for Christopher to find something he likes and that works with that. (Also, you’d be a huge loss to Wisconsin.)

Good news, Dana. Extra time is a very good thing!
