I had my six-month follow-up MRI today.
Good news: the pituitary adenoma has shrunk. Benign neglect for the win!
Bad news: they couldn't find a good vein for IV access in my elbow, so they had to try a new site. The IV stick combined with the bandage afterword has created some interesting (and I hope temporary) body art.
Distressing news out of Nashville (should be web-searchable but consider this a Content Warning) -- has anyone heard from Kate that she and her kids are ok?

Excellent!
Not only was it 14 degrees when I left for therapy, the car wouldn't start (though I had suspected that might happen because it's been so cold for several days and the car is old). Lyft to the rescue!
At therapy I got to tell my therapist a story I thought she already knew, which made her react with "What the FUCK is wrong with your family?!?" I genuinely love getting that reaction from someone who went through extensive training to be able to tell that something is very wrong in a family. Seriously. Validation is everything.
Now I am eating a very tasty turkey and swiss sandwich.
A new fire has broken out here in the LA area. This one is up by Castaic lake. My business warehouse is now in an evacuation warning zone. We just told the folks working there to get the heck out.
Oh geez ND. I’m so sorry. Fingers back in crossed position.
Yay for benignity!

Is there a good story to go with that?
I expect it involves beer and dumbassery in roughly equal quantities, but sadly it was before my time.
We’re at the gate ready to board!
We all had what is apparently a really intense (online) active shooter training dropped on us without warning today.
Like, maybe a little heads up so we can prepare our teams? I gave everyone a bit of a warning that it might be a lot and shared some crisis hotline numbers for this or any other purposes. But not before one of my team members alerted me that she was left shaky and had to take a break after watching it.
Yay for getting clear of this place for a while!
Woo-hoo, almost boarding time!
Oh, man, brenda, that's rough.
{{{ND}}} I hope it's under control soon and everyone's ok
Woo boarding!
