Yay!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

he leaned hard on getting a tankless but staying with gas,

I think this is what I will do for my dead water heater.

Yay benign!

Excellent news on the colonoscopy.

Phew, brenda.

I'm excited for your trip, David.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay benign and clean!

Woo-ho impending travels!

My department let everyone go to their three-day weekend a couple of hours early, which isn’t as enormous a joy, but still pretty happy-making. Also, my landlords finally dealt with the dish washer that’s been broken since I moved in nearly two months ago by putting in a shiny new one. So I’m ignoring all the political bs and going into the weekend feeling pretty pleased with life.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I got a tankless when I replaced the one at my cabin and I love it. I was concerned it wouldn’t get hot enough in winter (we have well water, which is some Jesus cold) but no issues at all.

Snoop performing for Trump pre-inaugural thing is the yuck I did not expect this morning. No thank you.

Our wings are not tired.

Woot! We love benign boobs.

Gotta get their SSNs for my retirement accounts, and to do some estate planning.

This is high on my list, and I am beginning to think beyond a DIY project. Ugh, that means finding someone to help.

At some point I need to replace my water heater, but it seems like something I should get multiple quotes for or something and that feels like effort.

We love our gas tankless. It is all that is advertised.

I'm pretty fucking angry at the way the Biden administration wasted its (admittedly narrow) window to at least TRY to fix shit that TFG had shown was broken.

With you with added anger that AG Garland didn't take care of business immediately.

I am here, although not for long because the screen is way too white and bright. I do my 2nd eye Tuesday. The difference between right and left eye is like switching the resolution from sepia to vivid. Doc says it is fine to wear sunglasses in the house as I acclimate.

I did have to pop in and do a catch-up to mention that Shir is the loveliest ever and I am looking forward to cooking new things! I love you! It is so heartwarming that you can think of others when you have so much on your plate.

Hooray for good health news!
