I hear you. That's why I've checked in a couple of times on FB.

Natter 78: I might need to watch some Buffy for inspiration
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah I’ve never been a Twitter person outside of occasional “what are people saying about this live sports game/helicopter/Oscar ceremony” type thing. So blue sky doesn’t really call to me. Such a bummer, though, about fb continuing the route to evil
Some amusing coaching from my manager today. After presenting to some of our seniorish leadership.
“Talk to them more like you talk to me. When you say things like “the [Business unit] vertical is pursuing a ton of crap” you’re so authentic. “

Good feedback! I opened a Bluesky account and friended a bunch of you and now I can't get back on. Which is a continuing theme this week - being locked out of accounts.
After 18 months I still can't get into our AT&T account, and I just went through the phone tree twice yesterday to try to resolve everything and it is still not resolved. And I have to fix it so I can set up International plans for Matilda and me while I'm traveling.
Also, my TV updated some software, booted me out of the Criterion channel and I can't get back in.
Whee!
The tree is down. Ornaments and stand back up in the attack. Round table back in front of the windows and the coffee table is also back down from the attic. Also Matilda and I cleaned the Guinea Pig cage, ran the cage liner flannels in the laundry, did a load of dishes and I vacuumed and swept up All The Needles.
Now my back is really sore. But I can't just crash because my CPA is stopping by on her way to choir practice to pick up a bunch of exhausting notices from the IRS.
Friday Matilda and I get our Covid and Flu shots in advance of travel.
The problem is that I find bsky more Classic Twitter than Fbook -
Yeah, I never was a Twitter fan. And I doubt I'll ever really leave FB, because I have so many family members on there.
Oooh, Power of Complaining Activated. Found my way back into Bluesky. Voila!
One down, nineteen locked accounts to go...
Great minds.
I'm deleting all my content on FB and IG and starting again. I'll be visiting all remaining B's on those platforms, but mostly doing business stuff in my groups.
It's so strange feeling this weird about letting go of those daily habits. It's actually a good thing for my time and motivation, but damn. I love those places!
I'm practicaloptimism on Bsky. Haven't done much there, but will do when the great purge is over.
I'm on Bluesky under my pen name, susannafraser.
I'll probably stay on Facebook for the sake of family, college friends, and the like. I mean, right now nowhere feels good, exactly.
I legitimately love Tumblr, but it is a hellsite (affectionate) full of fannish goblins and feral raccoons. It's not a viable social media substitute for anything (nor should it be).
I spent a lot of time on Tumblr lo these many years ago when I was all-in on Sleepy Hollow fandom, especially the Ichabbie fanfic corners thereof, but I haven't really kept up there lately.
