FYI as I find you all bluesky, I am unfollowing you on other platforms so I can keep straight who I am still looking for.
Fb for the moment is only going to be replies and possibly posts on group pages like buy nothing and lost pets.
IG will be replies and knitting things.
bluesky is really the only social media I'm on anymore. Well, sometimes, LinkedIn, but that's a different thing.
I'm on bsky, but under my fannish identity. I don't want to have two accounts, so I'm happy to follow people as long as 1) you're prepared for my unhinged fannish content and 2) you don't connect the two identities. If you know who I am, feel free to friend me. If you don't know the name, you can email me at my profile address.
I’m in the area all of the wind terrorizing LA is coming from and we are still quite windy. Power has been off for an hour and I wished I’d charged devices but will be fine.
Keeping all of the weather hostilities across the country in mind and I hope everyone stays safe. If you need to evacuate for fire, please do it quickly and safely.
I joined bsky, but don't use it.
I unfollowed all but a few critical groups on FB. The neighborhood page and the buy nothing group are both really hard to think of a replacement for so for now, I guess I’m a bit stuck. There’s a handful of individuals too that I’m holding on to but expect to go down to bare minimum for now.
I’m enjoying Bluesky and can be found there for now. I do like that you can curate different feeds for different purposes. I’m winnowing down the politics content so as not to lose my gourd.
I'm continuing on FB for the cat rescue groups and embroidery groups I follow, but I've moved over to BS for everything else.
I am on bsky, I but don't check regularly. I haven't been on FB but twice or so since the election, so I'd like to check bsky more often.
It took me a sec, but I remembered both fannish names.
I've mostly managed to forget fannish names. I'm 'euryale' on bsky.
The problem is that I find bsky more Classic Twitter than Fbook -- I want to be able to read longer posts, enjoy pictures, get part of groups and so on.
Also there's a bunch of family and long-time friends that are on Fbook that I really would lose touch with. sigh
