Our wings are not tired.

Subarus are well loved by those I have know with them.

Sending all manner of ~ma to my loved ones in the burning regions. So scary! I appreciate the updates.

Coding and Sleeping

Yeah, the fires look terrible. Really scary stuff. Hope everyone is okay.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wildfire season continues to get more and more frightening every year. I know all of our LA-istas have evac plans, but I hope none of you have to use them.

My 2017 Subaru doesn't have a heated steering wheel! I feel cheated! (If only the driver who hit our old Subaru head-on and totaled it had waited three years...)

Fires are super scary.

I’m doing a bad job at my job today, but can’t seem to really care. The need to close ranks and gather friends is STRONG right now. Would that I had a sprawling estate, I would invite everyone for extended visits.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My Forester has the heated steering wheel. Love it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

January is not supposed to be part of wildfire season!

There's a goddamn cybertruck in the employee parking lot here, parked across the aisle from me. Freaking me out some, honestly.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, I got up, looked at the internet, and decided to just play Powerwash for a while.

I think I have successfully deferred both jury duty summons.

Uh wow, my 2020 forrester does not have a heated steering wheel! It does have heated seats though, so I appreciate that.

Thrive to spite them

So I guess people are expecting the Snowpocalypse. It's been really busy. Everyone is buying bread.

Right now it is supposed to start snowing mid afternoon Friday and into the night and then freezing rain etc on Saturday. No word on if schools are closed. I have to talk to the manager tomorrow about not being here on Friday and if I'll get a point. It's my fault for getting so many but I'm also not going to let myself get trapped at the store because of snow.

Got Penny's test results. She has good liver and kidney function. Really high white blood count (which is not surprising) and on the verge of hyperthyroidism. So in a month she'll get tested again for that.

FYI as I find you all bluesky, I am unfollowing you on other platforms so I can keep straight who I am still looking for.

Fb for the moment is only going to be replies and possibly posts on group pages like buy nothing and lost pets.

IG will be replies and knitting things.
