I have a lot of blue and green to wear. Also my hair is very blue at the moment. I just gathered things at the fancy wine and cheese store so I can have charcuterie plate on the plane tomorrow . My friend did this on her trip to France a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was genius so am copying.
Natter 78: I might need to watch some Buffy for inspiration

Thanks, the pfft made me laugh. My in-laws have not seen the full extent of my stubbornness or my wrath. But if they keep playing their cards this way…
My wardrobe tends to be very Floridian colorful. My biggest challenge is that the majority of my clothing is sleeveless tops and shorts.
I am in the hotel room! DH has gone to the airport to return the car so he will be a while. Unpacking and making the room my own.
My backup dress that I ordered off of Amazon because I knew it would arrive in time was delivered to a locker and I forgot to pick it up before it was automatically returned. Because what is time? But I went to Ross after work today and found something pretty.
I will be there in mind and spirit this weekend.
This. I'll be at my niece's high school graduation party in Tulsa then, but I'll be holding you in my heart.
Because what is time?A flat circle?
L is waffling and probably wearing the swanky black and silver glittery vest vs. the, umm, lesbian flag color crochet grandpa vest I made for her as a slightly belated (because it took me forever) birthday gift, as she's unsure if "aggressively lesbian vest" is appropriate. (Either vest will have one of the two dressy flowing tops and the velvet kick flare pants, so it's just a vest waffle.)
Except for my tech, I am packed. Now to get my child packed before our flight tomorrow afternoon.
I will probably wear my pride kilt.
I will inform her of that. It's a pretty killer vest, if I dare say so myself. Many are the compliments she gets in it.
Reading all the comments about wardrobe ... I'm just glad my closet has a light - it's dark in there. I actually broke down and bought a dress - haven't worn one in YEARS. Seemingly, there's a fad for "napping" dresses, which are loose enough to sleep in and a very light fabric. It's cool enough here that I haven't worn it yet ... later.
