Having worked in in-patient rehab for a few years now, I could embroider a "Friends Don't Let Friends Get UHC" sampler, so I could just tap the sign

Holy cow Tsumani warning. SF folks you good? need to leave? -t, Beth?
I think everyone is well out of the potential impacted zones, at least here in the city. I'm not sure of those south of us. Time of impact is forecast for 12:10 in SF.

I’m far enough inland to be fine
Tsunami warning has been cleared. Looks like we're all fine. At least in terms of tsunami danger.
Sweet
That was alarming to read about after it happened. Kind of glad I didn't know while I was happening.
Right now the world is...a lot.
I'm glad the tsunami turned out to be a dud -- I recently watched the National Geographic channel multi-night documentary on the big Indonesian tsunami, which is now like 20 years back. Holy cow!
We had just enough snow in Boston last night that I had to brush my car windows off, but the sidewalks and roads were clear. Just enough to be pretty and not a bother.
United is horrible. When I had it in NC my therapist agreed with me that a month or so of 2x week appointments would be helpful. United denied it and said I needed to do Intensive Outpatient Therapy at a location almost an hour away. I called and asked why I couldn't get 2x a week because my plan said Unlimited therapy and I was told the plan states that it's 52 appointments per year (one per week) and it's unlimited because they don't require any authorization during the year for more. That isn't unlimited and I told her that. Also their algorithm (not the word used) said that patients who needed 2x a week therapy did better in intensive outpatient therapy. I said I was going through some changes and just needed extra support for that and that this was cheaper. Didn't matter. "We pay for it so we decide" is basically what I was told.
I think my therapist just charged me what he was getting from United. Or what he should have been because they were months behind on paying him
