It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Does that include Gaetz’s and Rubio’s seats?

That is all seats in the House (435). Gaetz was reelected, and could in theory take his seat, so that is included.

Rubio is a senator. His seat can be filled by appointment.

But his and any other defections to the administration will only be a factor once the new Congress convenes in January.

Our wings are not tired.

In Florida news, it looks like DeSantis might get Defense since Hegseth may go the way of Gaetz. It could be that DeSantis picks Lara Trump to replace Rubio and gets a seat at the table as a reward. DeSantis, Bondi, Rubio, Gaetz, and a bunch of others. Local newspapers say nine of his picks have been loyal Floridians. Best of the best, I tell ya.

Bad news for America, but good news for Florida! Congrats, Laura.

Our wings are not tired.

I have little confidence Floridians will pick anything better for replacements. Sorry about along our trash.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Woah, the CEO of the 8th largest company in the world was just assassinated in midtown NYC.

Is it wrong that my first thought was "Was Trump the shooter? He said he could do it and no one would care."

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

David Brooks had an article in the op/ed saying the MAGA people have the outlook that belief in institutions, even ones that are supposedly on their side, is seen as an attribute of the enemy. This collided with a conversation I had with Mom about how much traction they got the first time by just ignoring the norms of the US government and I realized: This is just the "Move fast and break things" shit all over again. No wonder he gets on so well with Elon.

Tom: Holy crap, that's my company's health insurer!

ETA: Teppy, hah!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Woah, the CEO of the 8th largest company in the world was just assassinated in midtown NYC.

Holy shit, that's less than 10 blocks from my office.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I did not think the break down of the rule of law would be quite so fast and dramatic
