"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I’d rather watch animal videos all day instead of work. I overslept this morning and I still haven’t caught up brainwise.

Ditto, except my sleep was all choppy. I am tired and stupid.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad that went well, smonster! Enjoy your day of napping and whatever!

Ouch, JenP!

I'm having a harder than usual time remembering what day it is today (although I feel like I say it a lot so maybe I should just reset what I think is usual) but it is at least slightly not my fault. A restaurant that I follow on Facebook is already telling me what their special will be tomorrow (I think because they are closed today?) and it's beef stroganoff which sounds delicious so I have it in my head that I can go there for dinner after work and I cannot until tomorrow. Meanwhile I have to do all my Tuesday work things.

Mmm. Now I want beef stroganoff.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I am in Seattle (working from the mothership) and may I just say jetlag can bite me. Do not like.

I'm afraid that, this weekend, the winner in the battle between Steph and the Time Zone Change is going to to be the time zone change. I'm planning to get extra-caffeinated to combat jet lag, but there still may be a struggle.

Because books.

Wait, what? When am I supposed to switch the clock? Again! I'm reading conflicting things via Google.

Jetlag is terrible. But hey, if you're awake at 6pm and don't have plans, you should totally come to the University Bookstore and see me interview Cherie Priest!

Sorry -- I meant because I'm traveling from Ohio to California this weekend and the jet lag is gonna get me. We don't do anything to the clock until November.

Jilli, that is so cool!

My outfit for the Hindu wedding ceremony arrived, and it is pretty! Tim's arrived, too, but I didn't open his, but I predict it will look awesome. I'm super annoyed that my dress for the Lutheran ceremony isn't going to make it on time, since apparently eShakti has fallen into a black hole.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay! That will be an excellent evening.
