Chris, that is exciting! I don't think Ms Vonn and PK Subban of NHL fame are together anymore, but they made a very foamy power couple a few years ago. (I will confess that I liked Mr Subban much better in Montreal bleu-blanc-et-rouge than in that awful Nashville yellow.)

Beverly my dear, I love you too. You have been so warm and steady for me in times when my life has not been long on warmth and steadiness. And I hear you on passing the torch on US electoral politics, and slowly letting go. Just got back from a super quick trip to see my brother. I'll get over for a few days probably by this weekend. He looks like hell and has lost tons of weight, but his attitude seems good.

My relaxing looks a lot like other people's fighting. Which makes me sad for my personal self, but might be just the preparation for the next phase.

He isn’t putting any weight on it.

Dr visit today went well. They took off the half cast and put a full cast on. He was in much better mood after the appointment.
